Short version: read anything here for free, quote our numbers with a credit, do not scrape the site into your own product, and do not treat any figure as advice to bet money on.
By using the DeepCover website or the DeepCover Android app (together, the “service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
DeepCover publishes cricket statistics recomputed from ball-by-ball match data we assemble and license. It is an information service. It is provided free of charge and is offered as it stands.
You are welcome to read, share and quote figures from DeepCover in articles, posts, videos and conversation, with a credit to DeepCover and, where practical, a link to the page the figure came from.

The ball-by-ball record is assembled from several sources. Part of it is open data, principally Cricsheet, licensed under the Open Data Commons Attribution License (ODC-BY 1.0). Part is purchased from match-data providers. Matches that pre-date ball-by-ball coverage come from published scorecard archives. Everything is then re-derived into DeepCover's own analytics warehouse. Match facts are public information; what DeepCover adds is the identity work, the computation and the presentation. DeepCover's own analytics, page text, design and software remain the property of DeepCover.
DeepCover's stated aim is that every published figure matches the match record, definition included, and considerable work goes into that. Even so, source data can contain errors, coverage differs between competitions and eras, and mistakes can reach a page.
Figures are therefore provided without warranty of accuracy or completeness. Where coverage is partial, the Data Trust page and the pages themselves say so. If you find a figure that disagrees with the match record, please report it and we will investigate.
Nothing on DeepCover is a prediction, a tip, or advice of any kind, and it must not be treated as a basis for wagering or any financial decision. We are not affiliated with any betting operator. Any use of these statistics for gambling is entirely at your own risk and your own responsibility, subject to the laws where you live.
We aim to keep the service available and current, but it may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn at any time without notice, including for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
Where advertising appears on the service, adverts are supplied by third-party networks and their content is not selected, endorsed or verified by DeepCover. Any dealing between you and an advertiser is between you and them. How advertising affects data collection is described in the privacy policy.
The service may link to other sites. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DeepCover is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, or from reliance on any figure published here.
We may update these terms. The revised version will be posted at this address with a new effective date, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
